inode usage limits Print

  • 0

An inode is a data structure used to keep information about a file on your hosting account. The number of inodes indicates the number of files and folders you have in your cPanel. We have a 50,000 inodes limit for shared customers.

The use of more than 50,000 inodes on your account may result in a warning, and then suspension if no correction is made.

Accounts found to be exceeding the 50,000 inode limit will automatically be removed from our backup system to avoid over-usage.

You can read the full details in our TOS.
