How do I submit my site to search engines?
We don't register your site on search engines for you, unless we designed your site, then we submitt it to Google, Bing, Yahoo, & Ask.

There are numerous other tools and services on the Internet that you can use. Some are free and many are not. However, the best way is still to submit your site manually to the top search engines and any search engines specifically for your type of website. This will allow you to customize your submission to the type of search engine and their individual requirements. Being listed on the top 10 engines is more important than being listed on a thousand engines no one has heard of.

Special note: Do NOT submit your site to a search engine until the site is actually completed and working. Some search engines like Yahoo will only give you one shot. Be prepared to wait. It may take up to a month for a search engine to get to you.

Google

You will need to find the most appropriate category in the directory, and click on the "Add URL" button in the upper right hand corner.
If you try to stuff the description with keywords an editor may leave your site in unreview, or delete it. Try to describe your site in a balanced manner.
